Gracie Curran & The High Falutin' Band

Since coming together in Boston in early 2010, Gracie Curran & The High Falutin' Band have earned their reputation for draw dropping Blues & Soul. With their amazingly energetic live shows and stunningly soulful sound, the band has quickly garnered the attention and adoration of fans and critics alike.

In 2013, Gracie and company recorded their debut album "Proof of Love", (featuring the phenomenal Roomful of Blues Horn Section, Producer Richard Rosenblatt on Harmonica and stalwart keys player Bruce Bears (Duke Robillard)), and was released with their appearance at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The album received critical acclaim, with airplay on Sirius XM and over 200 radio stations world wide; eventually earning the band a 2014 WC Handy Blues Music Award Nomination for Best New Artist. In addition to this honor, the band was nominated for a New England Music Award, as well as a two Boston Music Music Awards, winning the award for Blues Artist of the year in December 2014.

In the wake of the success of their debut release, High Falutin' hit the road, with sold out shows and festival appearances from Omaha to Ohio, sharing the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy, Shemekia Copeland, Tab Benoit, and Ronnie Earl.  After performing at the 2014 Blues Music Awards in Memphis, TN , the band relocated from Boston to the historic Music City to tour full time.

Gracie Curran & the guys are looking forward to a busy 2015, touring and working on their sophomore album, "Come Hell or High Falutin'", expected to be released in early 2016.

With  powerful performances and a contagious enthusiasm, Gracie Curran & The High Falutin' Band have established themselves as one of the most exciting young bands on the roots scene today.

Gracie Curran tears open your chest and breathes into your soul with a baptism of raw power and emotion. A five-alarm stew of blues, gospel and soul that burns in your gut like the first time you heard Aretha Franklin’s “I Never Love A Man. Pass the cool water, please.
